Former Alabama baseball right fielder Andrew Pinckney has been drafted as the No. 102 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft by the Washington Nationals.

Pinckney spent three seasons at the Capstone (2021-23). Last season, he recorded 79 hits, 58 runs batted in, 55 runs, 40 walks, 18 home runs, 12 doubles, eight stolen bases, three triples, and a .339 batting average.

The Ga., native was the first Alabama baseball alumnus to be drafted this year.
