Alabama returns to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday for a top-25 matchup with the Missouri Tigers for homecoming. Both teams have struggled this season, with Alabama sitting at 5-2 and Missouri at 6-1, but looking a lot worse than many people thought they would this season.

Alabama has its back against the wall, needing to win out if the Crimson Tide hopes to make the expanded 12-team College Football Playoffs. The Crimson Tide will try to prove to the fans that it can make a run beginning Saturday.

In an interview with the Crimson Tide Sports Network, Alabama reserve offensive tackle Wilkin Formby was asked earlier this week what he hopes fans will see on Saturday.

"I think that most importantly, we're just gonna show - I feel bad for Mizzou," Formby said. "Because we've come off a loss, and we're very focused on us. It's all about us. We're focused on just keep winning. It's the next game. We're focused on the next game at hand. Just being able to dominate our opponent, and more so focus on us and what we have to do."

Alabama is currently a 17.5-point favorite over Missouri with the news that Missouri running back Nate Noel will miss the game and quarterback Brady Cook will likely be absent.

Formby told the Crimson Tide Sports Network that Alabama has a "great player-led team," and that Alabama's leaders can "keep us all together" after Alabama's 24-17 loss to Tennessee.

"We're not pointing fingers at each other, and we're kind of just taking this on as a team," Formby said.

Alabama is currently viewed on the outside looking in for the College Football Playoffs, sitting at No. 15 in both the AP Poll and the Coaches Poll.

The first College Football Playoff poll will be released on Tuesday, November 5.

"Two losses that we probably shouldn't have had," tight end CJ Dippre told reporters on Tuesday. "You can't accept that in any way. You can't understand it in any way. You have to understand from inside, Bama lost those games. Nobody beat us. They were two good teams, still, but we beat ourselves. To the Bama Standard -- Bama doesn't really lose two games, especially not before November."

Other players echoed the sentiment on Tuesday, saying Alabama was re-focused on the little things, such as showing up on time, tucking in their shirts, etc.

On Wednesday, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said on the "Hey Coach" Radio Show:

Alabama and Missouri will kickoff on Saturday, October 26, at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
