WARNING: Icy Roadways in Tuscaloosa County for Morning Commute

Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers are alerting drivers to some dangerous and icy road conditions Monday morning in Tuscaloosa County.

Troopers reported icy conditions on the Fosters Bridge on I-59 near the 65 mile marker.

In Greene and Sumter County, ice has been reported on the Tombigbee Bridge on I-59 near the 28 mile marker.

In Dallas County, there are reports of icy roadways, although ALEA did not specify which roads.

In all cases, the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has been notified and will be responding.

ALEA also urged motorists to avoid the areas in question, and to use caution on elevated roadways and bridges.
