Harlan "Hammerhead" Booth, age 63, of Northport, Alabama, passed away on October 17, 2024, at his residence.

His Celebration of Life Service will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2024, at Magnolia Chapel North with Bro. Dalton Bobo officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Rudolph Booth and Bernice Hallman Booth; great-niece, Adelyn Rose Booth; and nephew, Daniel Holt.

Survivors include his sisters, Amanda Ingram (John), and Marsha Booth; brothers, Tim Booth (Melissa), and Anthony Booth; nephews, Dylan Horton (Amy), Cole Horton (Rachel), Blake Booth, Seth Booth (Brittney), Caleb Ingram (Romi), and Cole Ingram; niece, Danielle Booth; great-nephews, Deacon Horton, and Jesse Horton; great-nieces, Kolsie Horton, Maggie Horton, Lilly Ingram, Daisy and Dixie Jones; special nephew, Finn; and special niece, Raelynn.

Harlan was a 1979 graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Drafting from Shelton State Community College. He worked at McAbee Construction and Campbell & Associates, as well as The Studio.

He was a member of Rosedale Baptist Church. Before his vision impairment, Harlan was an umpire. He also coached youth baseball. He loved sports, especially Alabama Football. Harlan enjoyed tailgating and being with his family and friends. His friends were family to him. His humor, love, and friendship will be missed greatly.

Honorary pallbearers are Don Drake “DJ Double D”, Kelli Hicks, Les and Tracy Higginbotham, Ronnie and Laura Mayfield, Easton and Debbie Mullis, Jeff McDowell, Cathy Hydrick, and Bud Bell.
