A 63-year-old Moundville man was killed in a single-vehicle tractor-trailer wreck in Greene County Tuesday, Alabama Law Enforcement State Troopers have confirmed.

Reginal King, a spokesperson for ALEA State Troopers in West Alabama, said Orville Kenneth Dill, 63, was driving a 2016 Freightliner truck on Alabama Highway 14 in Greene County around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The truck left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned, King said.

Dill was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck in the collision. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

King said the collision took place around 10 miles west of Eutaw.

No further information was available Wednesday afternoon as State Troopers continue to investigate the fatal wreck.
