Buhl Man Dies After Saturday Wreck on Tuscaloosa County Road
A man from Buhl has died after a Saturday evening wreck on a rural road in Tuscaloosa County, according to State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Trooper Gregory Corble, an ALEA spokesman, said the victim, 33-year-old Brian D. Moses, was driving a 2005 Suzuki GSX-R 600 on Tuscaloosa County Road 140 Saturday evening when he rear-ended a truck on the same road.
Corble said Moses hit the back of a 2016 Ford F-250 that was being driven by another Buhl man and was seriously injured in the collision. The wreck took place just before 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Corble said.
Moses was rushed to DCH Regional Medical Center where staff attempted life-saving measures, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead in the hospital.
Corble said Troopers will continue to investigate the deadly wreck, which took place about 12 miles east of Northport, but had no further details to release Sunday morning.
