Eutaw Woman Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash in Greene County

A Eutaw woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday night in Greene County, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirmed Wednesday.

Trooper Reginal King, a spokesman for the ALEA, said the crash occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m. Tuesday about one mile north of Eutaw.

Latarias Katrice Lewis, 41, was driving her 2001 Lincoln Town Car along Greene County 131. She collided with a 2008 Suzuki SX4, driven by Nykearia Kyunna Pearson, 20, a Tuscaloosa resident.

Pearson was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nothing further is available at this time as authorities with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
