Elizabeth Betty Davis Stokes (July 12th, 1962 – May 26th, 2023)

Elizabeth Betty Davis Stokes, age 60 of Greensboro, passed away May 26, 2023 at Hale County Hospital.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life service on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:30 am at Newbern Community Center 543 Beech Street Newbern, AL. 36765. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South is in charge of arrangements.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Constance Davis and Troy Davis and brothers Mike Davis, John Davis, and James Davis.

She is survived by her loving husband Haywood (Woody) F. Stokes III, daughter Sydney Stokes and son Kristopher Stokes (Megan). Her grandchildren Colby and Colton Fisher and Sawyer Stokes. Her brothers and sisters; Janet Davis August (John), Marie Davis Manley (Buddy), Joseph Davis (Karen), Carolyn Davis Corliss, and Robert Davis.

Betty attended Greensboro Public School West Campus. She worshipped at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Greensboro and St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Demopolis
