Doug Gant, Jr. (December 21, 1952 – Nov, 5, 2021)

Eston Doug Gant, Jr. age 68 of Brookwood, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 at home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at Magnolia Chapel South with Bro. Ron Philpot officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.

Doug is preceded in death by his parents; Eston Douglas Gant, Sr. and Emily Shore Gant, brother; Lewis Johns and his sister; Wanda Russell.

Survivors include his wife; Barbara Rowe Gant, daughters; Stephanie Hawthorne (Chris), Ashley Miles (Blake), sons; Eston Douglas Gant III, Bryan Lewis Gant, Jase Preston Gant, sister; Joy Gant, Martha Shaver, brother; Eston Gant, grandchildren; Liberty, Jaxon, Dawson, Hayden, Will, Jacob, Colton, Bristol, and Cyrus.

Doug served his country in the Vietnam War, and served his community as a Funeral Director and EMT and owned his own flooring and tile business. He loved fishing, hunting playing with his grandchildren and singing gospel music.
