Brenda Watts Nash (October 19th, 1950 – July 6th, 2024)

Brenda Watts Nash, 73 of Tuscaloosa, passed away on July 6, 2024, at Hospice of West Alabama.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Magnolia Chapel South with Brother Mark Maddox officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Robert and Martha Mae Watts, sister; Caroline Truesdale, brothers; James Watts, Posey Watts, Huey Watts, Buck Watts, Finlin Watts, and Edward Watts.

Survivors include her daughters; Patti Spiller (Todd), son; Lynn Nash (Jennifer), sisters; Shirley Bench, Wilma Watts, and brother; Laverne Watts, grandchildren; Shelby Tilley, Drew Tilley, Lauren Barton (Jordy), Ashlyn Nash, and great grandson Nash Thomas Barton, great grand daughters; Lucy Spiller and Evalee Hollingsworth, Jay Spiller, David Spiller, Anna Grace Spiller, Lauren Hollingsworth, Karen Spiller, Ada and Zora Manweiler and many nieces and nephews. .

Brenda was born in 1950 in Kershaw County South Carolina to Robert and Martha Watts. She was the youngest in her family. Brenda loved the Lord and loved her family, always doing anything she could for anyone. She loved her fur babies and Alabama Football.

Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Watts, Ethan Hollingsworth, Brayden Lyons, Devin Leger, Jordy Barton, Jacob Guillory, DCH Cancer Center, Hospice of West Alabama, and Tuscaloosa and Northport DCH medical staff.

Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to Food Bank of West Alabama or Hospice of West Alabama.
