All-Day Visitation Planned in Memory of Tuscaloosa Doctor
The offices of the medical network he founded will be closed Wednesday for the all-day visitation in memory of Tuscaloosa doctor Ramesh Peramsetty, who died last Friday.
As the Thread reported, Peramsetty, the physician who earned the nickname "Tuscaloosa's Doctor," was found dead at 63 on Friday afternoon.
Tributes mourning his passing have poured out on social media as business and government leaders grapple with Peramsetty's sudden passing.
On Monday afternoon, representatives of the Crimson Care Network Peramsetty founded and ran said they would close on Wednesday for an all-day memorial for the late doctor.
Peramsetty will be remembered at a nine-hour come-and-go visitation hosted by Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
The clinics will open for normal business hours on Thursday, and their spokesperson continued to ask for privacy for Peramsetty's loved ones as they grieve.
