Alisa was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Minnie Jones; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Jones and Mr. and Mrs. William Goodman; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Alisa is survived by her husband, Philip Swindle; son and daughter-in-law, Trey and Mikaela Swindle; as well as her precious grandchildren, Anna Presley and Raylan; brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Belinda Jones; nephews and niece, Justen Jones, Jacob Jones (Kia), Anna Katherine Frost (Lee); great-nieces and nephews, Addison, Allison, and Whitt. A multitude of friends and family are also left to mourn her loss.

Alisa was born February 17, 1963 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She was a 1981 graduate of Northside High School, later attending Shelton State Community College before she began working at SouthTrust Bank. She spent over 30 years employed by the United States Postal Service before retiring in 2021. After retiring, Alisa continued to work at Enchanting Casuals until it closed; and she took a job at Lawrence Farm and Lumber in her beloved Samantha community.

Alisa was truly a dedicated Christian woman who always had a heart for giving, caring, and helping others. She was and is beloved by all who had the extreme privilege to know her. Alisa will be greatly missed by her Oregonia Church family where she played the piano for many years. The Samantha community will miss her beautiful smiling face and helpful nature when they stop in at Lawrence’s. Her new work family learned much about kindness and generosity from “Sally”, a nickname given to her by her father at an early age. Alisa cherished time spent with her grandchildren and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her third bundle of joy. To know Alisa Swindle was to love her and she will be missed by all.

Pallbearers will be Sam Appling, Chris Atkinson, Michael Griffin, Jeff Rainwater, Michael Smallwood, and Zac Smith. The family greatly appreciates the outpouring of sympathy and kindness during this extremely sad time.
