
Aliceville Woman Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash in Pickens County Tuesday
A Tuesday afternoon accident in Pickens County killed an Aliceville woman, State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency confirm.
Sergeant Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Troopers in West Alabama, said 57-year-old April Box was driving a 1987 Chevrolet Grumman LLV - a mail truck - and was involved in a collision with a 2007 Chevy 3500, which a Fayette man was operating.

King said the wreck happened around 12:10 p.m. Tuesday on Alabama Highway 17 about a mile north of Aliceville, in Pickens County.
Box, an Aliceville woman, was fatally injured and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
King said no other details were available for release on Wednesday morning.
