The Pickens County City of Aliceville is in the midst of troubling times. Four teachers in Aliceville schools and an Aliceville police officer have been arrested on various charges stemming from alleged possession of child sexual abuse materials and accompanying activity. And law enforcement officials say the extensive investigation is continuing, with more arrests possible.

Aliceville Mayor Terrence Windham has seen what is taking place in his community and is hoping to bring his city together in unity this afternoon.

He has issued a Facebook invitation to the community:

"Pastors, Preachers & Christian Believers!
As you know, there are a lot of evil deeds coming to light, and our community needs prayer!
For those that are able and willing, this Saturday at 3 p.m. we will meet in the City Hall parking lot and say a prayer of protection. Afterwards, we will march around the city rebuking, praying, worshipping, and proclaiming God’s authority over the city and its citizens!
Individuals who cannot march are welcome to stay behind to pray and worship until we get back. Can you help us pray?
Up until that day, I am asking those who are willing to fast and pray up, because we are coming/walking in the name of the Lord, and the adversary will not be happy!!
Thank you in advance!
Terrence Windham
