Alberta COVID-19 Vaccine Registration Pop-Up Site Canceled
Severe weather in West Alabama is leaving lasting impacts for other operations that were set to occur this week.
The Tuscaloosa County Emergency Management Agency announced via Twitter that its COVID-19 Vaccination Registration Pop-Up event is canceled for tomorrow.
The EMA had planned to host the pop-up site at Alberta Baptist Church on University Boulevard, offering their services to get folks signed up to receive a coronavirus vaccine. But, after Thursday's storms devastated many surrounding areas, including Bibb and Hale Counties, their services are required for the people living in neighboring counties.
The EMA will reschedule this location's pop-up event for a later date. That rain-check has yet to be determined.
