This past season, Bryant-Denny Stadium was not able to welcome the thousands of fans who come from all around to cheer on Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide football team.

Athletic director, Greg Byrne, was only able to fill up 20 percent of the newly renovated facility. As the season came to a close, fans began to wonder about the upcoming season and if the percent allowed would increase.

According to a representative from the Tide Ticketing office the Alabama athletic program will allow a 50% capacity in Bryant Denny Stadium for next week's A-Day.

Saban and the team will be taking the field next Saturday at the A-Day at noon. Students were able to opt-in to receive tickets and the general public will be able to purchase tickets tomorrow.

President Stewart Bell announced that the upcoming academic semester was going to go back to normal operations with full capacity in classrooms, which ideally gives Byrne the green light to bring back 100 percent capacity at Bryant-Denny next fall.

The Alabama athletic department based its decision on Governor Kay Ivey’s statement on the statewide mask mandate, which officially ended today at 5 P.M.

Folks, grab your jerseys and clear bags because Bryant-Denny Stadium is going to allow 50% of attendees to witness the Crimson Tide football team showcase their skills next week.
