Robbie Ouzts, tight end out of Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina has announced his commitment to the Crimson Tide on Twitter today. Ouzts is considered a three-star prospect and the 8th overall recruit in the state of South Carolina by the 247Sports Composite. He chose Alabama over scholarship offers from South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and others.

Ouzts was recruited primarily by safeties coach Charles Kelly and tight ends coach Jeff Banks. His commitment vaults Alabama ahead of Ohio State in the 2021 recruiting rankings according to 247Sports.

Alabama made him a scholarship offer in February 2020. Ouzts took an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa in June of 2020.

His highlight tape can been seen here on hudl.

Ouzts indicates in his commitment announcement that he will join the Crimson Tide in the spring of 2021 as an early enrollee. He will look to step in and help the Tide replace Carl Tucker and Miller Forristall as they are entering their final year at Alabama.

The 6-foot-4, 240 pound tight end becomes Alabama's 21st recruit to commit in this 2021 cycle and fills a position that has been difficult for Alabama to fill in recent years. Alabama landed Caden Clark in last year's recruiting cycle however he opted to delay his enrollment causing Alabama to dip into the transfer portal and add Carl Tucker as a graduate transfer.
