Two UA Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity Brothers Die in Fire
A fire sweeping through a hunting camp in Conecuh County in South Alabama has taken the lives of two University of Alabama fraternity brothers. 21-year-old Mark “McNeil” Mostellar and 19-year-old James “Walter” Hensley perished when the early Wednesday morning blaze turned the structure near Evergreen into ashes.
Four fraternity brothers were inside the house at around 1:30 Wednesday morning when the fire brokeout. Two of them were able to escape and were transported to a hospital. The severity of their injuries have not been released but authorites have said they are expected to survive.

Mostellar and Hensley were trapped inside and were pronounced dead at the scene by the Conecuh County Coroner’s Office.
The Mobile natives were members of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and were both business majors at UA.
The two friends were standout athletes at two different high schools in the Mobile area. Hensley was a graduate of St. Paul’s Episcopal School. Mostellar was a graduate of UMS-Wright Preparatory School.
“In the wake of great loss, we are reminded just how fragile life truly is,” St. Paul’s school wrote in a Facebook post. “When words fall short, we gather.” A vigil was conducted for Hensley last night.
During UA's spring break in March, 20-year-old James Gracey was found dead in the sea near Barcelona, Spain's Somorrostro area after a two-day search. The Theta Chi fraternity member was using his break from UA to vacation with his family.
