The Alabama Department of Health has identified a West Alabama County as being at 'very high risk' for transmission of the novel Coronavirus.

The ADPH classifies Bibb County as very high risk due to increases in both hospital visits and confirmed COVID-19 cases. The health agency ranks counties by risk level based on the number of new cases each day, an indicator of the virus' spread within the community.
