Tuscaloosa Christian School in Cottondale will miss the first two games of its football season as 40 students are now out due to the novel Coronavirus.

WBRC Fox 6 reports TCS officials learned of students who had recently tested positive; these students were members of the school's football and volleyball teams. The students and those in close contact with them have been made to self-isolate for the next two weeks.

TCS Headmaster Dan Lancaster also tells WBRC News that the school is requiring students to submit to daily temperature checks, wear masks and practice social distancing.
