Two adults were killed and two children were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Bibb County Tuesday afternoon.

Corporal Reginal M. King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency State Troopers, said Jedarius K. Chancey, a 31-year-old man from Huntsville, was driving a 2008 Lexus ES 350 when he left Alabama Highway 139 in Bibb County and struck a tree.

Chancey and an adult passenger, 27-year-old Jasmine S. McGary from Selma, Alabama, were both killed in the crash and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

King said there were also children, aged 2 and 6, in the Lexus who were both injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Troopers said the crash happened on Alabama 139 about 15 miles east of Centreville in Bibb County.

No other information was available on Wednesday afternoon.
