1 Dead After Motorcycle-Vehicle Collision in Northport Saturday

A rider was killed Saturday morning when their motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle on Highway 69 in Northport.

Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa's traffic correspondent Ray Allen reports the fatal accident happened around 10 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Highway 69 and Martin Road in Northport.

The Northport Police Department responded and all lanes of the highway were blocked as of 11:30 Saturday.

Assistant Northport Police Chief Keith Carpenter has confirmed the wreck was fatal.
