
Single Vehicle Crash Kills York Woman in Sumter County
A Sumter County woman was killed in a Tuesday accident near her town of York, Alabama State Troopers report.
Sergeant Reginal M. King, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said the single-vehicle accident happened Tuesday night around 10:15 p.m. on Alabama 17 about seven miles south of York.

King said the driver, 35-year-old LaTorrey L. Law, was fatally injured when her 2005 Chevrolet Malibu left the roadway and overturned.
Troopers said Law was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected in the wreck. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck.
Nothing further is available as the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
