Leadership is a quality that only some are born with.

Yet, it's needed now more than ever in our state and in the USA.
West Alabama women are the focus this week thanks to The Britto Foundation.
They held their annual luncheon this week in Tuscaloosa.
The guest speaker was Dr. Kathy Randall, a woman recognized for her outstanding accomplishments and the trials she has overcome.
The group responsible for the gathering believes women have been underrepresented for many years.
Nicolas Britto, of The Britto Foundation, tells us he wants to see young women encouraged to believe they can make a massive difference in the world today.
This event is designed to spotlight these leading ladies and their personal stories, complemented by their numerous triumphs in business and life.
The overall themes of encouragement, empowerment, and self-belief are combined with a good cause in Alabama.
Those attending were also encouraged to bring diapers to be donated to worthy nonprofits, such as Catholic Social Services, Temporary Emergency Services, and Turning Point, among others.
