Woman Fatally Shot in Tuscaloosa Saturday Afternoon

Police are on the scene of a fatal shooting in Tuscaloosa Saturday afternoon.

Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, told local media around 1:45 that a woman has been killed at 3401 Greensboro Avenue .

No other details were immediately available.

This is the VCU's 7th homicide investigation this year and the second this weekend.
