Water Service Interrupted for Residents in Northport, Alabama Along Highway 43

City officials have confirmed water service has been interrupted for many residents in Northport along Highway 43 Tuesday afternoon.

The information comes from Don Hartley, Division C Coordinator for the Alabama EMA. The damage impacts Clear Creek, Tony Montgomery Road, Vintage Lane and Malone Road.

Hartley said he has spoken to Northport Mayor Bobby Herdon, who said there is a leak somewhere on Tom Montgomery Road. Repair crews were working Tuesday afternoon to determine which valve malfunctioning so they can repair it.

The city also confirmed the service outage on their Facebook page Tuesday afternoon.
