Investigators Seek 20-Year-Old Person of Interest in Shooting Near Lake Tuscaloosa
Investigators in the area are asking for help locating a 20-year-old person of interest in the wake of a double shooting near Lake Tuscaloosa last week.
As the Thread previously reported, the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit is investigating a shooting that took place on Marina Drive near Lake Tuscaloosa at about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
A man and a woman who were shot and injured are expected to survive, police have said.
Now, the VCU is searching for a person they believe is connected to this case.\
Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the VCU, said law enforcement has not been able to locate Tyler Isaiah Turner since the time of the incident.
Turner is 20 years old and charges have not yet been filed in this case - at this time the VCU is only classifying him as a person of interest.
