2 Shot and Seriously Injured in Possible Family Shooting in Tuscaloosa County
Two people were shot and seriously injured in what police describe as a possible household altercation in Tuscaloosa County Saturday afternoon.
Captain Jack Kennedy, the commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said county sheriff's deputies are working with the Coaling Police Department and the Vance Police Department at the scene of a double shooting on Hen Smith Road.

Kennedy said a male and a female have been shot and transported to a regional hospital with serious injuries.
A Suspect in custody, Kennedy said, and the VCU believes this was potentially familial violence in a shared household.
Kennedy said the VCU is actively investigating and no other details were available Saturday night.
