Uniontown Woman Killed, 2 Others Hurt in Crash on Dallas County Highway
A Uniontown woman was killed early Sunday morning when the car she was riding in left the roadway and overturned on U.S. 80 in Dallas County, Alabama State Troopers report.
Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey, a spokesperson for the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency in our area, said the crash happened at about 3:50 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 80 near Dallas County Road 209, approximately eight miles west of Selma.

King said 43-year-old Kimeia A. Bennett was a passenger in a 2011 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 25-year-old from Uniontown when the vehicle left the road, struck a guardrail and overturned. Bennett, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Sonata and a second passenger, from Tuscaloosa, were both injured in the crash and transported to Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma for treatment.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
