A man arrested in Tuscaloosa in 2022 for robbing several victims on the University of Alabama campus is being sought in Uniontown. Police in the west Perry County town are asking for the public’s help in finding Joshua Vantrel Norfleet.

The 24-year-old is wanted for escape third degree, discharging a firearm into an occupied building, and probation revocation. Investigators say he was recently spotted in the Uniontown area.

In the 2022 UA campus incidents, University of Alabama Police obtained surveillance video of the robberies involving Norfleet and were able to identify the vehicle involved.

Investigating officers were able to use the video to track down the same Honda and found that the vehicle's occupants matched the description given to them by victims. Both Norfleet and the other man arrested were identified as being from Uniontown.

Anyone who may have seen Norfleet or knows his whereabouts is urged to immediately call Uniontown police or CrimeStoppers at 334-215-STOP (7867). The caller's identity will not be revealed.

Persons who see or know Joshua Vantrel Norfleet's whereabouts should not approach him but rather use the information above to contact authorities.

Information that leads to the arrest of Norfleet will result in a cash reward.
