The University of Alabama will waive application fees for domestic and international undergraduate, graduate and online prospective students from October 17-21. This is done to encourage prospective students to apply without additional financial barriers.

“Free App Week provides students with increased accessibility and an excellent opportunity to discover a university that provides both solid academic engagement and a vibrant campus culture,” Dr. Matt McLendon, associate vice president and executive director for enrollment management said in a press release.

To receive instructions on how to submit an undergraduate application for free, applicants must first submit their contact information on the Undergraduate Admissions Free App Week page. The application deadline for prospective undergraduate freshman and transfer students is Oct. 21 at 11:59 p.m.

To reserve a graduate application waiver, students may sign up on the Graduate School’s Free App Week page. Visit the Graduate School’s supporting documents page for more about graduate admission requirements. The application fee waiver code may be redeemed beginning Oct. 17 at 8 a.m. through Oct. 21 at 4:45 p.m.
