Soul Music Songwriter Ty Myers, 18, Announces September Show in Tuscaloosa
Tuscaloosa's Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater continues to round out its 2026 concert schedule with a Wednesday announcement that soul music songwriter Ty Myers will host a show here in September.
According to the venue, Myers and special guests Brent Cobb and Benny G will play a concert on Thursday, September 10th, at the Amphitheater in downtown Tuscaloosa.
Myers' new album, Heavy on the Soul, will be released later this week on Friday, and his new Legal Tour was announced on Wednesday morning to promote the record.

This will be Myers' sophomore album, following his debut release, "The Select," in early 2025.
The 18-year-old songwriter blends a country tone with soulful lyrics and has shot to prominence since gaining popularity on TikTok at 16 and 17.
The Legal Tour launches on June 11 with dates scheduled through November 21, including the Tuscaloosa show on September 10th.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 3, 2026, at Ticketmaster or by visiting mercedesbenzamphitheater.com.
In their second year with a new promoter, the city of Tuscaloosa and Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater have booked a series of 2026 shows that seem geared to younger audiences than previous years, with acts including the Alabama Shakes, Sublime, 50 Cent, CAKE and more.
