Two-Vehicle Crash Kills Woman, Injures 2 Adults and Infant in Greene County
A woman was killed in a Thanksgiving wreck in Greene County that also injured two adults and an infant, State Troopers said Friday.
Corporal Reginal King, a spokesperson for the Troopers in West Alabama, said 55-year-old Debbie A. Taylor was driving a 2009 Camry on U.S. Highway 11 outside of Boligee when she was struck by a 2022 Toyota RAV4 being driven by a 26-year-old man from Livingston.
King said Taylor, a Eutaw woman, was fatally injured in the wreck and her 50-year-old passenger was hurt and transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle had a 1-year-old passenger riding with him, and both were injured in the collision.
King said the crash happened on U.S. 11 near mile marker 34, around two miles east of the town of Boligee in Greene County.
No more details were made available Friday as Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
