Tuscaloosa Police Investigating After Alleged Shooting Injures Woman Wednesday

Police in Tuscaloosa are investigating after a woman suffered a gunshot wound there on Wednesday.

Social media lit up after 5 p.m. with photos and videos of Tuscaloosa Police vehicles and ambulances at the Krystal on McFarland Boulevard.

On Thursday morning, Captain Marty Sellers, the co-commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, told the Thread that officers responded and found a woman with an injury he called minor.

Sellers said the circumstances of the shooting and how she came to be injured have not been verified and are still under investigation.
