Tuscaloosa Police Investigate Gunfire Report at Apartment Near New Cane’s
Tuscaloosa police are investigating a report of gunfire at apartments on 13th Street East, according to a Department spokeswoman.
Stephanie Taylor said officers responded to the area at 4:23 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. No victims were located.
Taylor said officers remained on scene searching for evidence and speaking with potential witnesses around the Lofts Apartments across the street from the just-opened Raising Cane's, where a long line of cars was stretching down the road even as TPD sectioned off parts of the sidewalk by the apartments with evidence tape Tuesday.
