Tuscaloosa Police Charge 4th Man in Landmark Apartments Murder
Police in Tuscaloosa have arrested a fourth man in connection to a deadly robbery outside a local apartment complex last month.
The shooting left Demarkus "Shrek" Hall dead, and police say the suspects intentionally targeted him for robbery due to involvement in the local drug trade.
On Thursday, Captain Jack Kennedy of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit told media they have arrested Cadarious Williams, age 29, for Felony Murder.
Williams is being held without bond pending Aniah’s Law.
"Although the investigation is ongoing and more arrests and/or charges are possible, we do not anticipate any other individuals being charged with murder in this case at this time," Kennedy said. "All suspects are in custody."
Hall's death was the third homicide in Tuscaloosa County this year.
