As summer finally loosens its grip on West Alabama, Spirit Halloween is open now in a new location, their fourth in Tuscaloosa County in recent years.

The seasonal costume and decorations emporium opened annually next to the McFarland Mall on Skyland Boulevard for many years but moved in 2020 to the former Sears store in University Mall.

Spirit returned to the same space in 2021, but last year moved across the Black Warrior River in the Northridge Center Plaza off the intersection of Highway 82 and Watermelon Road, next to Hoo's Q and Brew

Now, the ubiquitous Halloween store is open again in another new space, this time down Highway 82 in the former home of Northport's Tuesday Morning discount store, which closed earlier this year.

Their new address is 1695 McFarland Boulevard in Northport between the Walgreens Pharmacy and McAlister's Deli. Keep in mind that ALDOT's long project to expand Highway 82 in that area of Northport is ongoing, and orange cones make it somewhat tricky to get to and from the new store.

Spirit will be open daily through the end of October, offering costumes in Barbie pink, Wednesday Addams black and most everything in between.
