The Tuscaloosa County Commission will host its annual spring clean-up event Saturday at 12 rural sites in the area, a county spokesperson announced Monday.

According to a release announcing the event, the commission is partnering with Waste Management to place three large containers in each of the county's four districts.

Residents are encouraged to bring and dump any trash except household and kitchen garbage, tires and hazardous materials.

Commission District 1:
- Camp Coker (13600 Hwy 82 W)
- Camp Samantha (17504 Finnell Road by the VFD)
- Yellow Creek VFD

Commission District 2:
- Hwy 216/Woodland Lake Road
- Hwy 216/Keenes Mill Road
- Holt Elementary School

Commission District 3:
- N. Rosser Road/Old Greensboro Road
- Hargrove Road East/Oakview Lane
- Duncanville VFD

Commission District 4:
- Foster’s Grocery Store Parking Lot
- Buhl Elementary School
- New Life Baptist Church

The annual initiative is just one component of the commission's approach to reducing litter all across Tuscaloosa County.
