Badcock Furniture & More in Tuscaloosa is open now off Skyland Boulevard behind the Los Tarascos Mexican restaurant.

Owned by brothers and business partners Rob and Will Morgan, this location is their seventh store in Alabama, located at 140 Skyland Dr. in Tuscaloosa.

Both partners said they are excited about doing business in Tuscaloosa because for them, the city is more than just another location to do business.

“Tuscaloosa holds a special place in our hearts, not just because we are fans of the Crimson Tide,” says Will Morgan in a press release. “We lived in Tuscaloosa for a period while growing up and my brother and his wife are both graduates of the University of Alabama. We are excited to bring the Badcock family to the Tuscaloosa market.”

Since its founding in 1904, W.S. Badcock Corporation has opened over 380 stores, making them one of the largest privately-held home furnishing companies in the United States.

Rob and Will Morgan have had success in their previous six stores, and hope to have the same outcome in Tuscaloosa.

“One thing you notice immediately when you’re around Will is his love for helping others. He is wired for customer service and I believe that is why he has been so successful with his stores. Additionally, Will is a huge ‘Bama fan, so I’m extremely happy to see him get to open a store right in Tuscaloosa,” Badcock president and CEO Rob Burnette said in the press release.

W.S. Badcock Corporation was named "2018 Retailer of the Year" by the National Home Furnishing Association.
