Townsquare Media Tuscaloosa is hosting a one-day-only Shred Day on Friday, April 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the old McFarland Mall parking lot at 900 Skyland Blvd East. Rain or shine, community members can bring all of their old paper documents that need to be discarded in a safe and private way.

In partnership with The Better Business Bureau of Central and South Alabama and the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama, this free event is open to the public. Social distancing will be practiced for this event.

This is a great chance to finally get rid of old tax returns, bank records, and other documents that might be taking up too much room in your home. Each car that comes through is limited to two bags or containers.

Only paper will be accepted – no electronics.
