Tuscaloosa Police Seek 16-Year-Old Missing Since Sunday

Investigators with the Tuscaloosa Police Department's Juvenile Division are asking the public for help locating a missing 16-year-old girl.

In a Wednesday morning Facebook post, TPD said Kayla Palan was last seen on Sunday, April 17. Palan is described as 5 foot, 6 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds.

Police say the missing teen might be a runaway with family ties in Iowa and that she could possibly be traveling there.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is urged to immediately contact TPD at 205-394-2121.
