The Alabama Crimson Tide, after a dominant performance in Atlanta Saturday, have learned who they will take on New Year's Eve.

Announced Sunday morning on ESPN, the Tide have drawn the Cincinnati Bearcats as their opponent in the College Football Playoff Semifinal. This will the be the Bearcats first appearance in the CFP, while this will be Alabama's seventh appearance.

Cincinnati enters the game undefeated at 13-0 and winning the American Athletic Championship over Houston Saturday. Alabama earned their way into the playoff after defeating the number one ranked team in the nation, Georgia, 41-24 in the SEC Championship Saturday.

This is sixth meeting all time between both schools. These two teams last played in 1990, where Alabama came away with 45-7 win in Birmingham.

The matchup will take place in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The game will be televised by ESPN. Kickoff time has been set for 2:30 PM Central time.
