Shelton State Community College and Tuscaloosa County High School are launching a pilot program that will introduce ninth graders to college coursework and credits this school year.

Autumn Fuller is a 23-year-old teacher at the Tuscaloosa County High teaching theatre and English. She’s not an ordinary English teacher as she teaches students who don't speak English as their primary language. Autumn sacrificed her planning period so that she could take on another class English Secondary Language students when no one else would.

TCHS Principal Darrell Williams confirmed that the school is seeing an increased police presence Monday after a threat was made online to students over the weekend.
