Player of the Year

CBS sports released their list of preseason All-Americans and six University of Alabama football players found their names on it. However, only one of them could be awarded the title of preseason player of the year, and that honor would be given to Will Anderson Jr.

The Alabama Crimson Tide softball team just completed its regular season with a 42-7 record and finished third in the SEC. The SEC announced its year-end awards on Tuesday and Alabama cleaned house. Senior Bailey Hemphill was named SEC Player of the Year and junior Montana Fouts was the Co-Pitcher of the Year.
