Former Tuscaloosa County High and Hillcrest High School linebacker, Jacquez Jones announced via his social media that he will be transferring to the University of Kentucky to continue his football career. Jones a standout linebacker for the Ole Miss Rebels the last two seasons becomes the latest player to take advantage of the SEC's new rules on intraconference transfers.

According to Thom Abraham of ESPN Radio, Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin has announced that the game will be pushed back from the original 5 p.m. start time. Kiffin said the game will be moved to "7:30 or so."

After the path of Hurricane Delta was discovered to be hitting the Gulf Coast later this week, many high school football teams around Alabama announced that they would be moving their games to Thursday.
