Friday Night Lights is coming down to the wire, and for the Hillcrest Patriots, that means putting another big region rivalry win under their belt against the McAdory Yellow Jackets, pulling the upset 30-7.
McAdory showed their explosive nature quickly, scoring on a 3-drive possession; a 46-yard pass to Jabari Strait, then two handoffs to RB Roderick Thomas for the fast score to put them up 7-0.

With their 26-7 Homecoming victory tonight, the Northridge Jaguars (7-2, 4-2) secured the third-seed out of Region 4 for the playoffs in two weeks. Though McAdory (4-5, 3-3) dropped a third-straight loss, the Yellow Jackets have still secured their own playoff spot and will be the fourth-seed.
The McAdory Yellow Jackets (4-3, 3-0) went on the road to play the Brookwood Panthers (1-6, 0-4) tonight and emerged victorious, winning a big 6A Region 4 game 35-13.
