In their midday news conference Thursday, several Alabama football players announced their departure from the program and their next steps towards the NFL Draft. Among them is red-shirt junior quarterback Mac Jones.
Alabama's junior wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle, has officially been cleared to return to football activity. Whether or not he plays in Monday night's national championship game will be up to Waddle, according to Aaron Suttles of The Athletic.
