Alabama senior forward Herb Jones made an ever-narrowing list for a national honor. Jones was named one of four finalists for Naismith Defensive Player of the Year. The senior from Greensboro, AL has already won SEC Player of the Year and SEC Defensive Player of the Year and leads the nation's No. 2 ranked defense according to Kenpomeroy.
Alabama's Herb Jones and the SEC's Player of the Year was named to the AP All-American Third Team. The senior adds another achievement to his historic season that has gained recognition by the entire nation entering the NCAA Tournament.
