The Alabama Crimson Tide finished a historic regular season by beating Arkansas on the road 52-3. Alex Leatherwood was named the SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week and DeVonta Smith was named Co-SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Crimson Tide was back in action after a 21-day layoff this past weekend. Alabama defeated Kentucky 63-3 in Bryant-Denny Stadium to keep its perfect season alive. Alabama's senior receiver, DeVonta Smith, earned SEC Offensive Co-Player of the Week for his performance against the Wildcats.
Alabama has had two Heisman Trophy winners, Mark Ingram (2009) and Derrick Henry (2015). They are the only two non-quarterbacks to win the award since 2006, with two of the five Power Five conferences not playing, does that increase the odds that Alabama could win its third Heisman Trophy?
