Demopolis Avoids an Upset; Defeats Central Falcons 40-24
In what started as a defensive battle full of fumbles, the Demopolis Tigers (3-0, 1-0) took down the Central Falcons 40-24. The Tigers had a rough half, losing three of their four fumbles. Demopolis coach Brian Seymore helped his team turn that around in the second half with four touchdowns, three of which were unanswered in the fourth quarter.

Football season is now underway- at least for high schools across the state of Alabama. Tuscaloosa County especially is seeing an influx of talent from all classifications. While all teams have only played one game, we are looking at several teams that have the potential to be battling for a ‘blue map’ at Bryant-Denny Stadium in December.
